Visteon has component and systems testing facilities located around the globe. Within these facilities, Visteon has on-site testing engineers and technicians that understand how important testing is to the manufacturing process and to the production of quality products. The symbiotic relationship between manufacturing and testing come together to create an atmosphere that leads to better products.
In North America, Visteon has created 10 "Centers of Excellence" that provide specific testing capabilities. These centers are accessible on a space-available basis for vehicle manufacturers or other automotive suppliers. This service provides additional space to vehicle manufacturers whose in-house facilities may be at capacity. Additionally, it provides access to testing facilities that other component manufacturers may not possess in-house. In these days when quality issues are a deciding factor in a consumer's vehicle purchase, it has become increasingly more important to both vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers to make certain all of the components perform as expected.

Visteon's Kerpen Customer and Technical Center in Germany, is the "Center of Excellence " for Climate Control systems and home to one of the most advanced test facilities in Europe. In October 2005, the facility was expanded to include a new leading-edge climatic wind tunnel and test center for vehicles. This climatic wind tunnel and chamber can simulate virtually any worldwide thermal and road load conditions and has a temperature range from -40degC to +55degC. Visteon's testing expertise was born out of more than 80 years of engineering and manufacturing experience - with the capability to determine that overall vehicle performance is equal to the sum of its parts.
