Why and When We Collect Personal Information

Sometimes, it is necessary to collect data to fulfill a visitor’s request for a service or correspondence. Social Media Plug-ins

If you are logged into your YouTube account, your personal data will be associated with your YouTube profile.

If you do not want your personal data to be associated with your profile, you must log out of your YouTube account prior to watching a YouTube video on our website. The legal basis for integration of YouTube Videos into Visteon’s website is GDPR Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f). Visteon uses YouTube videos to share useful information about our products and services.

YouTube stores your data as a user profile and uses your personal data for advertisement, market research, and/or need-based design of its website. Evaluation of such personal data is done, even of users who were not logged into YouTube, for need-based advertisement and to inform other YouTube users of your activities on our website.

Other Social Media and Email Plug-ins

Our website may contain links to or plug-ins for other social media channels related to GDPR Art 6 Abs.1 lit.1 f), such as Blogger, SlideShare, Pinterest, Gmail, Tumblr and others.
