Regional assembly facilities located near customers' assembly plants ensure the delivery of modules, components and systems to meet the specific needs of the automaker, in terms of timing and sequencing. Visteon's regional assembly facilities have the capability to deliver products within minutes — using just-in-time or in-line and in-sequence practices.
These facilities are small, customer-focused sites that reduce transportation and logistics costs, particularly where larger products are concerned (e.g. cockpit modules).
