Visteon receives Top 10 Supplier Award from Auto Alliance Thailand
Visteon Thailand Rayong plant received 2011 Top 10 Supplier Award from Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT), a joint venture between Ford and Mazda at the AAT annual supplier conference. The Top 10 Supplier Award is presented annually to suppliers with outstanding performance in the areas of quality, cost, development and management (QCDM). Visteon was one of the top 10 suppliers to receive this prestigious award.

Nissan North America recognizes Visteon for superior quality
Nissan North America, Inc. recognized Visteon with the 2011 regional supplier quality award for its efforts during the 2010 fiscal year. Visteon was a finalist in the automaker's electric and body divisions. Visteon was one of 16 regional suppliers to receive this prestigious award.
Visteon also received two certificates from Nissan North America: the Quality Master certificate, awarded to top production suppliers based on quality evaluations; and the Zero Defect certificate, for suppliers that achieved an overall defect rate of less than three PPM from April 1, 2010, to March 31, 2011.

 Visteon recognized for exemplary workplace practices
For the third consecutive year and fourth time overall, Visteon received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility for companies in Michigan. Visteon is the only automotive-related company among 24 Michigan honorees to receive this prestigious award. Visteon ranks in the top 20 percent of employers nationally for policies and practices that incorporate workplace flexibility as part of an effective strategy to achieve business objectives and help employees balance on- and off-the-job responsibilities. This recognition is part of When Work Works, a national project on workplace effectiveness and workplace flexibility from Families and Work Institute in partnership with The Center for Workforce Preparation, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Twiga Foundation.

Visteon receives Turnaround Atlas Award
Visteon won a Turnaround Atlas Award at a June 16 ceremony in Chicago sponsored by the Global M&A Network, a diversified media and conference-organizing company that focuses on the turnaround and reorganization industries worldwide. Visteon won the award for completing a restructuring/reorganization that successfully addressed obligations between $1 billion and $5 billion.

Visteon receives honors from Maruti Suzuki in India
Visteon Climate Systems India Ltd. received two awards at the annual Maruti Suzuki India supplier conference. The Overall Excellence – Silver Award recognizes Visteon for outstanding performance in the areas of quality, cost, delivery, development and management (QCDDM). Visteon was also honored with the Incoming Quality Improvement Certificate for quality performance and quick response in addressing quality concerns.

Visteon Awarded Toyota Global Technology and Development Award
Visteon received the “Technology & Development Award” from Toyota at its recent 2011 Suppliers Convention in Nagoya, Japan. The award recognizes noise-reduction technology as applied to a low-cost fuel pump controller (FPC). Co-developed with Toyota, the technology is considered a breakthrough in the global automobile industry and is currently patent pending. The Technology & Development Award recognizes suppliers who have greatly contributed to boosting the product appeal of Toyota vehicles by developing world-leading new technologies and products. After strict evaluation, the prestigious award is presented to a select number of suppliers every year.

 Visteon honored with two Ford World Excellence Awards
Visteon has been honored with two prestigious World Excellence Awards from Ford Motor Co., receiving the highest recognition Ford bestows on its global suppliers for outstanding performance in the areas of quality, cost and delivery. Visteon was among 47 suppliers, representing 16 countries, recognized for strong performance in 2010. Visteon received the Silver Award for radiator assemblies produced at the Autopal facility in Hluk, Czech Republic. Visteon also received the Recognition of Achievement Award for global practices related to environmental protection, energy and waste minimization, recycling and social responsibility across operations and products. Visteon is one of 12 suppliers to receive the Recognition of Achievement Award, and one of only three in the corporate responsibility category.

Visteon among top companies for multicultural business opportunities
Visteon has been selected as one of “America’s Top Organizations for Multicultural Business Opportunities for 2011.” Visteon is the only Tier 1 automotive supplier and one of just three auto companies among the 50 organizations announced for the honor by DiversityBusiness.com, a leading multicultural business-to-business website. These business owners were asked 10 questions regarding diversity and made their selections based on factors such as the volume, consistency and quality of business opportunities granted to women- and minority-owned companies.

On Jan. 13, LG awarded Visteon its "best supplier award" for outstanding performance in quality, cost and delivery during 2010. Visteon supplies ice dispensers, door handles and refrigerator trays to LG from its facility in Monterrey, Mexico.

Visteon receives honor from Honda Auto in Brazil
Honda Auto recognized Visteon for achieving the metrics established by the automaker in 2010. More specifically, Visteon was honored for excellence in quality and delivery of the interiors product manufactured at the Arbor plant in Brazil to Honda.
