Chrysler recognized Visteon for air induction system
DaimlerChrysler's purchasing group awarded Visteon with its 2007 Best EBCS (External Balanced Scorecard) award for excellence performance. The recognition was for Visteon's air induction system on the Dodge Caliber, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass. DaimlerChrysler awards this to suppliers with high ratings in technology, material cost management, delivery and quality. Visteon's air induction system delivers clean air to the throttle body, while providing engine sound tuning.

Philippines awarded silver prize for quality
Visteon Philippines received the Silver Prize in the 27th annual Quality Circles Regional Convention (QCRC) held in Ortigas Center, Philippines. The convention is an annual event to recognize in-country companies and teams for their best achievements in quality. Visteon Philippines was recognized for efforts around overall Operating Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Visteon receives supplier award from Honda in South America
Visteon was recently presented with the New Honda Circle Supplier (NHCS) award for successfully increasing the plant's paint system capacity to meet Honda's volume increase in South America. The annual award is granted to suppliers that use a team approach to demonstrate initiatives that improve QCDDM (Quality, Cost, Development, Delivery and Morale/Management). This year, Visteon placed second among 58 suppliers. This is the second year Visteon received this prestigious award from Honda.

India operation receives occupational health and safety award
Visteon Automotive Systems India Pvt Ltd. (VASI) in Chennai, India, received the ‘Golden Peacock Award for Occupational Health and Safety’ from the World Environment Foundation. The award commemorates VASI’s outstanding performance in the area of occupational health and safety.

Visteon’s development capabilities named excellent
As one of the 25 best suppliers to the Volkswagen (VW) Group,
Visteon was presented with the “Excellence in Development Award." This
category reflects attributes such as innovative capabilities,
technical equipment and the quality
of cooperation. As the supplier of instrument panels for the VW Caddy, Visteon
demonstrated innovative solutions for the instrument panel, including complex
technologies such as the seamless airbag application. The VW Group Award is
presented in five categories: excellence in development, product quality, logistics,
environmental awareness and entrepreneurial performance.

GM honors Visteon in Brazil
General Motors Corp. presented a 2006 Supplier Merit Award to Visteon as one
of the best suppliers in Mercosul. Mercosul is a trading zone for Brazil,
Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. Established in 1991 by the Treaty of Ascuncion,
these four countries agreed to establish a common market that still exists
today. Award consideration was based on quality, technology and price. Visteon
was honored in the Parts and Accessories category (P&A Sales Program) – the
only supplier to receive an award in this category – for audio and
multimedia original equipment parts supplied to GM dealers in the region.

Visteon India honored for export performance
Visteon Powertrain Control Systems India (VPCSI) and Visteon Technical and
Services Center (VTSC) were recognized for their performance in exports by
the Madras Export Processing Zone (MEPZ) at Chennai, India. VPCSI – one
of the three leading auto component exporters from India – also was
ranked as the Top Performer for 2005-2006.

Climate Systems India Ltd. wins awards from Maruti
Suzuki
Climate Systems India Ltd (CSIL) – a Visteon majority-owned joint venture – was
presented with three awards from Maruti Suzuki at their annual supplier conference
in India. CSIL received the Quality Award, Focused Model Cost Down Award and
Outstanding Overall Excellence Award. Maruti Suzuki has more than 200 suppliers and grants each award
to only the top five suppliers. CSIL manufactures climate control products
like radiators, engine cooling modules, intercoolers and heater cores.

Visteon awarded coveted Five Star Certification
Hyundai/Kia awarded its Five Star Certification to Visteon's VASI Chennai, India, and Beijing, China, climate plants. This honor is given to only a handful of Hyundai suppliers worldwide. Five Star facilities demonstrate best practices in new product development, continuous improvement, customer line and field quality, Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier management, inspection and testing, initial part quality plan and process control.

High honors for Visteon at 2007 PACE award ceremony
Visteon affiliate Halla Climate Control Corp. (HCC)
won a 2007 Premier Automotive Supplier’s Contribution
to Excellence (PACE) award for its innovative Wave Blade
Fan and Saw Tooth Shroud cooling fan module. HCC, one of
12 winners, won in the product category. HCC's patented fan
design significantly reduces overall engine noise, while
increasing air flow. Visteon also received an honorable mention
for MACH® DSP technology for HD Radio™ reception.
This patented technology was the springboard for Visteon’s
HD Radio receiver. The PACE Award is presented by Automotive
News, Microsoft, SAP and Transportation Research Center Inc.,
and recognizes suppliers for superior innovation, technological
advancement and business performance.

Visteon receives high honors for corporate citizenship
in Brazil
A Brazilian publishing house called the Gestão RH Company recently named
Visteon as one of the "Top 100 Companies in Corporate Citizenship." The
honor was granted as a result of two national surveys – the "1,000
best and bigger companies in Brazil" (Exame magazine) and "150 best
companies to work for" (Você SA and Epoca magazines).

Visteon India honored with export performance award
Visteon Powertrain Control Systems India (VPCSI) received recognition for its
performance in exporting starters and alternators by the Export Promotion
Council, established by the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The
award recognized VPCSI as the top export performer in the Engineering Industry
category.

Yanfeng Visteon awarded 2006 Shanghai General Motors "Best
Supplier of the Year"
Yanfeng Visteon, a 50-50 joint venture with Visteon and Shanghai Industry Automotive
Corporation (SAIC), received the "Best Supplier of the Year" award
at Shanghai General Motor's (SGM) annual supplier meeting. Yanfeng Visteon
was one of seven companies to receive the award from SGM's 1,486 suppliers.
The award recognized Yanfeng Visteon's quality, cost and launch performance
and support of new program development.
