Shanghai, June 15, 2020 – Visteon Corporation (Nasdaq: VC), a leading supplier of vehicle cockpit electronics, recently announced William Lau’s appointment as managing director of Visteon China. He will be responsible for Visteon China strategy, product and business operation.
With more than 30 years of experience in the auto industry, Lau is an expert in air control, instrumentation, safety, autonomous driving and infotainment product electronics. He is also experienced in enterprise management. From 2016 to 2019, Lau was the general manager of Shanghai Visteon Electronics Co., and Yanfeng Visteon Investment Co., Ltd.
Before joining Visteon, Lau worked at Delphi Group as engineering executive director and telematics and ADAS managing director of their Asia Pacific electronics and safety division. He has also previously worked at Delco Electronics in the U.S., and returned to China in 1999 with Shanghai Delco Electronic Instrument R&D Center, where he was engineering director.
