Having already sold 1.5 million units, Peugeot has presented a restyled version of its bestseller 308 hatchback and software for 2020, offering new exterior design options, the latest generation of engines and an updated interior that is enhanced by a striking digital cluster supplied by Visteon.
Based on cutting-edge technology featured previously on the Peugeot 208, Visteon’s cluster takes the complex HMI distributed on the two background and foreground screens and combines their functionalities into a single 10.25-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) design for the Peugeot 308 – while retaining much of the original 3D content.
Peugeot’s latest restyle of the 308 model brings the vehicle quickly up-to-speed with the latest customer expectations in on-board technology – including a fully digital and reconfigurable cockpit. As a bonus for the automaker, Visteon's flexible architecture allows for the creation of additional variants with limited effort.
Visteon’s digital instrument cluster is fitted as standard and slots seamlessly into Peugeot’s i-Cockpit© – helping to deliver a dynamic, high-tech setting that brings a more intuitive, connected and personalized user experience to the Peugeot cabin.
