Demonstrating the expansion of its technical capabilities and growth in China, Visteon has been recognized by leading industry organizations and peers, as its China team picked up three prestigious awards at annual automotive events in Shanghai and Beijing. Lily Cai, Visteon’s China business development and marketing lead, was on hand to receive the awards.

Joining 1,200 attendees in Shanghai, Visteon collected two awards at the GGAI Annual Summit, picking up a “Golden Globe” for the second straight year in recognition of being the “Global Digital Cockpit Supplier of the Year," and a “Crystal Globe” acknowledging its position as the “Global Smart Connected Solution Supplier of the Year."
Lily Cai also took to the stage at the GGAI summit to deliver a presentation focused on the fast-evolving trends tied to the future digital cockpit experience. Outlining the current industry landscape, Cai highlighted Visteon’s achievements and aims in terms of digitizing the cockpit and advancing autonomous driving functionality -- also providing insight into the increasing importance of centralized computing.
China Automotive Parts Industry Awards, Jan. 18, 2019
Beijing was the location for the China Automotive Parts Industry Awards, where Visteon secured the “2018 Digital Cockpit Solution of the Year” award for its SmartCore™ cockpit domain controller.
Staged at the Chinese capital’s Auto Museum, the event was hosted by Auto Business Review and endorsed by top level automotive officials, senior executives and key opinion leaders.
Visteon was one of 21 auto players recognized at the ceremony – with decisions based on technology advancement, reliability, flexibility, service, branding and market share.
