Peugeot-Citroën’s (PSA) annual supplier awards – which took place at the automaker's headquarters in Paris, France, on June 26 – recognize the important role supplier relations have played in its continued success as senior executives singled out suppliers who have gone beyond meeting quality and performance expectations and made particular contributions to PSA’s strategic growth initiatives. Visteon’s Bir el Bey plant was honored as one of 16 suppliers recognized for exceeding customer expectations from PSA.
The awards are an opportunity to reaffirm the integral part of suppliers in the manufacturing value chain and how PSA’s partners have contributed to the success of the automaker’s ambitious Push to Pass and PACE! strategic plans that focus on digital transformation and improved efficiency through electrification.
Representing the Bir el Bey team, Plant Manager Hichem Ben Ghorbal was on hand to receive the “best of the best” supplier plant award for the fourth year in a row – demonstrating the manufacturing facility’s commitment to achieving consistently outstanding performance.
Other suppliers to share the stage with Visteon included industry peers such as Autoliv, Faurecia and Valeo – recognizing the ability to reach and maintain PSA’s quality standards, from producing the vehicle to providing a market-ready product to the end consumer.
