Visteon receives top supplier award from Tencent

Visteon has been honored at Chinese tech giant Tencent's eighth global partner conference in Nanjing, China, which welcomed thousands of partners, industry leaders and entrepreneurs to participate in its annual large-scale event under the theme: “Open and inter-growth”. Markus Schupfner, chief technology officer, was on hand to represent Visteon.

Running from Nov. 1-3, the Tencent event discussed openness and inter-growth across industries, featuring 20 summit topics ranging from smart transport to artificial intelligence (AI). As one of 12,000 partners being represented in China, Markus took to the stage to receive Visteon's award – which recognized the company as a supplier with the most potential.

The award was bestowed for Visteon’s consistently excellent performance, as well as the part it has played in the companies’ cooperative project – the TAI connected car platform – and the expectation to deliver on future driving concepts.

The TAI automotive connected car intelligent system aims to create an improved, richer and more systematic industrial service solution for auto partners. At the same time, the TAI open platform provides more diversified service modes and builds an intelligent ecology together with auto enterprises, to meet users' demands for online consumption within the car.
