Visteon-issued statement in response to COVID-19 pandemic

Nothing is more important to Visteon than the health and safety of our 11,000 employees who work and reside in 18 countries around the world. In response to the global coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have implemented policies and procedures to protect our employees and identify a path forward for our business.

We have a Coronavirus Task Force that meets daily, includes site leaders from all of our global locations, and acts swiftly based on the latest CDC and WHO recommendations and governmental regulations. Our team is monitoring this unprecedented and dynamic global situation hourly with real-time actions taken to protect our employees, our business and our partners. Visteon is confident in our ability to navigate a way forward and has seized the challenge as an opportunity for us to emerge stronger as individuals, a team and a company.

In accordance with CDC and WHO best practices, we have implemented robust hygiene practices and social distancing procedures, restricted business travel, and directed telecommuting when possible, while providing tips for how our teams can stay connected. The company has also ramped up cleaning procedures and shared information on how to manage anxiety and stress. We will soon be donating a supply of much needed protective masks sent from our China team, and are exploring additional actions to support the needs in our local communities.
