Visteon honors top global suppliers at awards ceremony in U.S.
Visteon recognized its top global suppliers at the company’s annual Strategic Supplier Conference – staged in Dearborn, Mich., U.S. Honoring supplier partners across a range of categories including best customer-focused supplier, best innovation/technology supplier and supplier of the year, Visteon leaders acknowledged the winning companies for their efforts in advancing the quality and technology of cockpit electronics.
Welcoming more than 135 representatives from 65 global Visteon strategic suppliers, senior leaders hosted a celebration at The Henry Ford Museum that encompassed the very best partnerships between the company and its high-performing suppliers.
In addition to presenting awards to top suppliers, Visteon leaders shared insights and priorities on their respective areas of the business, further aligning these key suppliers with Visteon’s vision and strategy.
Visteon’s strategic suppliers are those who exhibit a customer-focused mindset, demonstrating practical and efficient approaches to complex launches that consistently deliver on critical program requirements. Partners’ strong support and performance is essential to Visteon’s own success – meeting high expectations and fulfilling capacity demands.
Through continued successful collaboration, Visteon and its strategic suppliers have achieved several high-value business wins with key global automakers – awards that are only made possible through regular communication and commitment as part of a team.

Jochen Ladwig, vice president, global procurement and supplier quality, hosted the event and shared in presenting the awards. He said the underlying theme of the event was to encourage ongoing collaboration with strategic suppliers to deliver benchmark quality to Visteon’s customers, emphasizing that their expectations are high.
Sachin Lawande, president and CEO, opened the conference by outlining Visteon’s vision and strategy, and later presented the award for supplier of the year to NXP Semiconductors.

Winning suppliers received a crystal award with an embedded 3D image of two hands clasped in a handshake – symbolizing the mutual cooperation and partnership between Visteon and its suppliers.
Taking home the Supplier of the Year award was NXP. The Dutch-based semiconductor supplier is aligned with Visteon products on digital clusters, infotainment and low-end SmartCore™, providing outstanding support with no major quality issues.
