Visteon delivers digital solution to Citroën C4's refined cockpit

Leveraging breakthrough HMI functionality in a cost-efficient platform, Visteon has supplied the latest fully digital instrument cluster to the popular Citroën C4 C-segment vehicle for European markets.

Integrating Visteon’s cutting-edge content previously featured on automaker models including the Peugeot 208, DS3 Crossback and Opel Corsa, the 2020 C4 is fitted with a 5-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) solution as part of a refined and modernized cabin.

Complementing the model's revolutionized digital instrumentation, the cluster integrates content and features that provide flexibility in styling while safely, clearly and efficiently distributing critical information to the driver.

The new Citroën C4 looks to bridge the gap between hatchback and SUV, with a design influenced by functionality and focused on comfort. The digital cluster supplied by Visteon exemplifies Citroën's vision for a future space that emphasizes capability and ease-of-use in equal measure -- delivering a user experience that is both convenient and advanced.

Based on its innovations featured first on the Peugeot 208, Visteon's cluster combines the functionality and complex HMI into a single interface in this pioneering 5-inch design. Despite downsizing in scale, the cluster retains much of the 3D content that makes the solution stand out.
