Battery Cooling Module

A battery cooling module is an auxiliary air conditioning system that provides cold air to a hybrid electric or full electric vehicle battery pack to maintain low temperatures and improve battery life.

Visteon's Battery Cooling Module contains a separate evaporator core, blower motor and air ducts, but is otherwise fully integrated into the passenger climate control system.
