LEDs have significant advantages over other light sources – they are smaller and more efficient, require less battery power and result in substantially thinner and more flexible packaging – giving designers new styling options. The inherent design and styling versatility of LEDs allows designers to ‘think outside the box' when developing exterior lighting solutions.

Since LEDs combine multiple sources to achieve the required beam pattern, designers are not restricted to conventional single-source designs. Visteon's LED Front Lighting offers design flexibility – front lighting can be designed solely with LEDs or customized to complement traditional halogen or High Intensity Discharge (HID)/Xenon applications.
