This unique tool enables the exploration and customization of many different automotive vehicle interior designs in a minimum of time.

Using three-dimensional solid parametric modeling, GENPAD provides over 50 interior studies, including:

  • vision blockage
  • reflection
  • reach zones (push-button, three-finger, full grasp)
  • safety zones
  • knee bolster zone
  • optimal gear shift lever location

It creates occupant parameters inside the car and helps the designers establish the ideal relationship between them. When any one factor is altered, GENPAD rebuilds every other affected dimension. By quickly converting two dimensional design standards into three-dimensional relationships, GENPAD enables designers to make better, more informed design decisions in less time.
