 Visteon wins Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) automotive innovation award
Visteon was awarded the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Automotive Division prize for most innovative use of plastics in a vehicle body interior – for a lightweight, self-reinforced air bag door. It is the industry's first fully recyclable, overmolded polypropylene passenger air bag door, offering significant weight savings and other benefits. Developed at Visteon's technical center in Harnes, France, the technology is currently in production on the Citroën C5.

Pune plant receives "A" rating from Volkswagen
Visteon Automotive Systems India – Pune plant (VASI Pune) received an "A" rating in Volkswagen's (VW) process and product audit. With this outstanding result, VASI Pune becomes one of the first automotive interiors suppliers to VW in India to receive the "A" rating.

Visteon recognized for workplace flexibility
For the second consecutive year, Visteon received the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility for companies in Michigan. Visteon was one of 22 honorees and the only automotive-related company to be recognized for its progressive programs that promote work-life integration. The Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility are part of When Work Works, a national project on workplace effectiveness and workplace flexibility from Families and Work Institute in partnership with The Center for Workforce Preparation, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Twiga Foundation.

Nissan recognizes Dongfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems
Dongfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems , a joint venture between Visteon, Yanfeng Visteon and Dongfeng Group, received the prestigious “Nissan Supplier Quality” award. Dongfeng Visteon Automotive Trim Systems is one of three suppliers to receive this recognition and it is the first time Nissan introduced this award in China.

Visteon receives two awards from Polaris Industries
Polaris Industries awarded Visteon with two awards the 2010 Polaris Annual supplier's Conference in Minnesota – the Two Star award and Delivery Performance award. Visteon supplies the engine control module on the 2008 Polaris Victory motorcycle street bike and the Polaris Victory Vision touring bike, which launched in 2007. Visteon also delivered engine control modules for the 500 EFI ATV and 500 EFI Ranger utility vehicles that were launched in 2006.

DiversityBusiness.com, the largest organization of minority and women-owned businesses in the U.S., included Visteon on a list of the top 50 companies in America for providing multicultural business opportunities. More than 600,000 leaders of diversity-owned businesses had the opportunity to participate in an online election to determine the top 50 organizations. Their decisions were based on factors such as the volume, consistency and quality of business opportunities provided to organizations owned by minorities and women.
